Newly opened Agas-Agas Bridge in Sogod, Southern Leyte - the tallest bridge in the Philippines with a height of 75 meters and bridge length of 1.5km - will soon be the haven for extreme sports enthusiasts into bungee jumping, rope jumping, pana-gliding, rappelling, zip lining and the like.

Inaugurated August 9, 2009, the bridge provides a vital link in the Maharlika Highway connecting Luzon to Mindanao via the Liloan Ferry Terminal in Southern Leyte. The modern bridge now provides a safe and reliable link in the landslide-prone area of the Agas-Agas section of the national highway cutting down travel time by one and a half hours.
