Sonnet 18

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date;
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

–William Shakespeare

"We try to grab pieces of our lives as they speed past us. Photographs freeze those pieces and help us remember how we were. We don't know these lost people but if you look around, you'll find someone just like them." - Gene McSweeney, Grey Water Photography, 06-04-2006

William Shakespeare declared that his sonnets will outlast such earthly things as stone monuments and inscriptions, stating thus:

Not marble, nor the gilded monuments
Of princes shall outlive this pow'rful rhyme,

If poems and rhymes can outlive them all, the more so with life's moments captured by the camera's eye.

Hi Sir gerry.
I'm your new fan! :) GOD really blessed you with a great talent! Sir, its really great that I was able to see your photos and I was really amazed. Actually, I'm really looking forward to be like yours, taking great pictures of things here on earth. I really loved to learn more on photography and join a club. I was indeed a photojournalist when I was in high school for 2 years and I stopped my passion when I was in College for some personal matters but now that I'm already craving for it again, I'm decided to really pursue on it. I hope I could get some views from you with regards on my desire.
Thanks and GOD bless! :)
